Daughters of the American Revolution

Last night I was the speaker at the Beaverton Daughters of the American Revolution about my book and 9/11 experience.  It was a great group of women.  At the conclusion of my talk they presented me with this 9/11 flag that was designed by the national DAR.

Dedicating a Piece of the World Trade Center

I have been asked to assist in dedicating a piece of the World Trade Center at the Forest Grove, OR, Library on November 22, 2011.  The library is at 2114 Pacific Avenue in the Rogers Room.  The program, which begins at 5:30 PM, will include a boy scout honor guard, police and fire personnel, the mayor, a special video presentation, refreshments, and I’ll sign my book.  I hope you will be able to attend.

At Forest Grove Rotary Club

This past Tuesday I was the guest speaker at the Forest Grove, OR, Rotary Club. Among the group was my chaplain friend, Dexter, and dispatch supervisor Larry, and Chief Deputy Pat. They all added to my presentation and it was a great time of sharing. And I sold a number of books!
