140 Pound WTC Artifact

On November 22nd I participated in the dedication of a piece of the World Trade Center from New York at the Forest Grove Library.  There was a great turnout of 80-100 people including firefighters, police officers, chaplains, city employees, and citizens.  After the ceremony I signed copies of my book.

A Great Book Launch

The author greets folks at the launch.

There was a great turnout at the official launching of Sent To Serve…The Chaplains of 9/11.  The Peppermill Restaurant was a great venue and the weather cooperated.

Some of the proceeds of the sale will go to support the work of the Beaverton Optimist Club.  They sponsor many worthwhile projects for youth in the community.

The next big Sent To Serve event will be the 3rd Annual NW Book Fair at Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, OR, Saturday, July 30th.  Hope to see some of you there.
